Thanks a lot to Chef Tori & the Super Specials for cooking a yayamanin steak-and-cheese dinner for Mama Uni & me, Ninang Lauren, on my birthday salubong! 🥩🍳👸🎂♥️🤴🍽️😻🧀🎁 (February 17, 2020) Super sarap! 👋 Na-touch kami sa inyong effort, tiyaga & time. 🤗 Love is spelled T-I-M-E & F-O-O-D. 💖 Salamat, Miah, Eunice, Joshua, Tito Nick, Tita Liza, Dang, Diane, & last but not least, my inaanak Tori (ang taga-blow ko ng cake lol 🍰)! We love you with a special love hehe. 😉

Thank you also to everyone for your birthday greetings. 💕 Salamat for being part of our lives. Appreciate the good vibes & thoughtfulness! 💌 I’ve been super busy helping my mom this month so even my birthday replies are late but I was encouraged by all your posts, messages, calls, gifts, etc. 🤗

And of course, thanks to all our family & friends who have reached out to us, not just on my birthday, but also beyond. 💖 Thanks for being there for us in our ups & downs, especially now that we’re going through a tough period. 🙌

Last but not least, thanks to Jesus for another year of life He has given me. 🙏 To be honest, it has been a very challenging time for us lately in different ways. But one good thing that has come out of it is that God is using our experiences to teach me how precious life is.

Sa totoo lang, I was planning to spend my birthday quietly & simply this difficult year. Balak namin na kaming dalawa lang ni Mama. But I really appreciate how people in our lives made an effort to spend time & share food & gifts to celebrate my birthday. I know it’s a much-needed reminder from God that my life is precious & worth living & worth fighting for. My prayer for this 2020 & beyond is that I will also help remind other people that their lives are precious too.
