Food Distribution & Sharing God’s Love sa ating mga kababayang PWD, elderly, street kids, homeless, at less fortunate sa Quezon City w/ Tita Jenneth, Mama Uni, Lauren & Domingo (March 25, 2019) π½οΈβ€οΈπππ»
π Alam kasi nila na medyo disappointed ako na di ako nakapag-birthday outreach or kahit birthday date with a street kid noong February, gaya noong ibang mga taon.
π While I don’t always post about it when we do stuff for others, naisipan ko to do so this time to thank and encourage everyone who has shown kindness to us. Maraming salamat po!
Excited din akong i-post ito dahil natutuwa kami kina Kuya Luis, Kuya Edward at Ate Teresita. π Nakaka-inspire talaga sila!
Meowhugs & foodie love from Lauren, Mama Uni, Cutie the Cat & Cute-ings! ππ»π½οΈ
*Our photos with Kuya Luis and Ate Teresita were taken with their permission. π· Kuya Edward prefers not to have a picture of his face taken so I just took a photo of his cane instead. We didn’t ask or take photos of the other folks we gave food to anymore, out of respect for their current condition.

This post, βFOOD DISTRIBUTION & SHARING GOD’S LOVE IN QC (MAR. 25, 2019)β, is Part 6 of βLaurenβs Family Birthday 2019β Series.
βWelcome to βLaurenβs Family Birthday 2019β Series! ππππ΄ππΈπ»π€΄π½οΈππππ I will be sharing about my birthday adventures with my awesome family in this series. Thanks to all my amazing & loving fairy godfathers & godmothers β my lolas & lolos, my Mama Uni, my Papa Boy, my titos & titas & the rest of the family in the Philippines, US & Australia β for the unexpected birthday surprises & greetings! π€΄ππΈ I was originally planning to celebrate simply & quietly as usual, but you all made my birthday extra special this year with your unexpected birthday treats, gifts & dates, and more importantly, with your love, your genuine concern for my health & well-being, and your presence. π And through our fun conversations, foodie bonding & crazy moments. π₯€π½οΈπΉ You made a big difference, not just because you cheered me up on my birthday, but also because you lifted up my spirits just when I needed it. Nakakagaan at nakakataba ng puso ang encouragement niyo during this challenging time when I have health concerns & when itβs easy to be discouraged sometimes in spite of my efforts to stay positive. Kaya maraming salamat sa inyong tangible reminders that I am loved by God & by our family. π Mama Uni & I love you guys with a special love. π»β€οΈπ€
Thank you also to everyone, my family & friends, for the birthday greetings & wishes! πππ I appreciate each & every birthday greeting, whether in person or via text, call, video chat or FB/social media. π Kulang lang ng snail mail. π Haha joke, oks lang yun! To be honest, I didnβt really expect many people to greet me kasi I havenβt been that visible or active socially in real life and online for over a year. Plus, I myself havenβt been that good at birthday greetings & remembering special occasions lately lol. π So I appreciate na you didnβt take it to heart. Salamat sa inyong pagbati! β€οΈ I will do my best to reply to each & every birthday greeting & message gradually. βοΈ
And of course, thank you to Jesus for another year & for my life & the lives of the people (& the cats!) around me. π The Lord is teaching me to value each new year & each new day now more than ever. And thatβs a good thing, because I now savor each new day & each new experience more and more. π
We love you all! π Birthday & burpday meowhugs from Lauren, Mama Uni & Cutie the Cat.
