We have 3 new books in progress this 2018! ✏🐈📚 God is awesome 🙆❤🌞 Please pray with Mama Uni (my editor-in-chief), Cutie the Cat (my kissing kitty inspiration) & me (Lauren the jologs writer), that the Lord will help us & my publishers release 1 or 2 or even all 3 new books on or before MIBF 2018 in September 👸🐈🙆 You know what’s amazing? It was only after, not before, I started my Live4Infinity Life Project, obeyed God about moving forward, and began writing & opening up about my mental health struggles that the Lord opened & re-opened doors to publishing opportunities. Sunud-sunod pa. Goosebumps! It’s a clear reminder that God wants to use me more in my weakness than in my strength.

I have been happily working on book matters this January, which is also another reason why I haven’t been that active on social media lately. Sunud-sunod ang balita kaya sabay-sabay din ang trabahong dapat gawin lol. Two books have already been approved before & we are now resuming working on them after some delays. God’s timing is best. I confirmed na tuloy pa rin yung two projects recently, one in November 2017 and one in December 2017. And last but not least, one book was approved just this January 2018! Happy New Year talaga.
These 3 new books are traditional publishing projects (to be published by publishing houses in the Philippines). Please pray also for other self-publishing book projects (to be published by myself via alternative, non-traditional channels) which I am currently working on. I want the best of both worlds this 2018.
Why am I sharing all this now? After all, it has not been my habit to share about my behind-the-scenes experiences in the publishing world. I usually blog about events, completed projects and personal experiences instead of my works in progress. It’s not that I don’t want to share about my upcoming books, but it’s more that I have been hesitant to do so, since I’ve grown to understand over the years that book publishing is a long, complicated process and many things may come up along the way. For me, a book ain’t published ’til it’s published. Nahihiya ako dati to share publicly about my books in progress kasi baka pagkatapos kong ibalita, hindi naman matuloy. I don’t want to disappoint all of you or myself.
But you know what? It’s perfectly fine with me now. I have decided to start sharing more about the behind-the-scenes moments of my journey as an author. First, so that you can understand the life of a writer better by learning about its ups and downs. Second, so that you can be our prayer partners. Much prayers needed! Third, so that all of you, my supportive family, friends and colleagues, can become an even bigger part of this journey: Let us experience together the joy, the disappointments, the hard work, the frustrations of waiting, the excitement of new developments, the bloopers, the friendships, the teamwork, the answered prayers, and through it all, the grace of God. Sama-sama para lalong mas masaya.
As I open up about my writing life, please understand that I will be sharing general information for now for professional reasons and out of respect to my publishers. I know some of you may be excited and may have questions about book details. However, nasa early stages pa ang book development process for all 3 projects. Let me share more specific details about my upcoming books later on once my publishers give us the go signal to do so, okay? 🙂
For now, what’s important is that I am doing what I love. And I am happy doing it.
Aside from other lifestyle changes I have been making because of my Live4Infinity Life Project, doing what I love again is also one of the big factors in my healing and recovery this 2018. Please continue to pray for good health of the body, mind and spirit for me, Mama Uni, and yes, Cutie the Cat too!

Thanks to everyone for your wholehearted support from the start up to now 💗 It may sound cheesy but you are all in my heart even though I may not be able to interact with you much lately. Bitbit ko pa rin ang lahat ng good memories natin and they inspire me to keep writing and spreading the good vibes.
