Last but not least, thank you to the Lord Jesus, who makes life beautiful, meaningful and worth writing about. To be honest, I didn’t expect I would win. The chances I would win seemed too slim from a human point of view. I almost forgot about God’s point of view.
This makulit, imperfect child of His is overwhelmed by His blessings. Nagmadali ako na tapusin ang aking thank you speech during the awarding para wag akong maiyak haha. Buti hindi ako natapilok habang nagdudumali pababa ng stage ? Please pray that, in spite of my imperfections, God’s light will always shine through me as I keep writing to spread His joy to others!

The “Most Favorite Writer” blessing I received at the #AklatAwards2016 is special to me because:
3. It’s an answered prayer to an important question! I asked the Lord earlier this 2016 if I should continue to focus on writing or to focus on something else in 2017. God’s unexpected answer is much bigger and better than what I hoped or prayed for! #Ephesians320

2. I’ve always loved to read so it’s a dream come true to know I make other readers happy too 😀 Nakaka-touch kasi kayo po mismo ang bumoto para sa akin. It’s also a dream come true to realize that I have more opportunities to spread God’s joy through writing in the future. This is what I really want to do. This is what I love to do.
1. I’m reminded how much God loves me (of course, I know God loves me just the same whether I win or not. This is just a special reminder that He gives grace to undeserving and imperfect people like me). I’m reminded that my family and friends are there for me. I’m reminded that my colleagues support me.
